Pointe Harbor, a community of up-market waterfront homes initially developed by a Duke Energy subsidiary in 2005, is located on Lake Keowee in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, off Keowee School Road (SC 188) and Knox Road, near the Oconee County city of Seneca. Although primarily a waterfront home community, Pointe Harbor provides deeded boat slips in a community marina that convey with many interior lots.
